The First day of Classes

My classes have started at ICLP. My very first class (8:10-9:00) was 單班課 (man-to-man). The other three classes are 合班課 that has one or two other students. Since classes are very small, it's not like students gathering in classrooms, but rather students visiting teachers' offices. The teachers are very nice. They are all confident in the students' improvement in Chinese. It seems the curriculum is well-organized, and the communication among the teachers is pretty good.

One thing I am not very satisfied with is that they gave us cassette tapes for listening practice. Cassette tapes!! I thought nobody uses them any more in this century. Maybe it is Columbia Chinese teachers that are all too techy (they gave us MP3s burnt on a CD-R)...(日本語が続く)

Posted by sayaka at September 29, 2003 06:15 PM | TrackBack
