China Trip 2

Movie Theater in Beijing
We killed our time by eating dinner and watching a movie (十面埋伏) until 2:00 am in Beijing. The movie itself was a little disappointing, but I was so amused by the whole different culture of Beijing's movie theater. Rumi, my Japanese friend in Taipei, often complains that Taiwanese behavior in movie theaters is bad. The behavior of audience in the theater we went to in Beijing was worse, and even funny. They discuss about scenes aloud, talk on the phone, shout at each other... The sound of the movie went off several times, and had music from another movie (or the radio?) for several seconds.

The train trip was not that bad except for the loud voice of old Chinese women chatting at 6:00 am and the obnoxious sounds of the radio that someone turned on and off all the way. In Qingdao, we did normal sightseeing like normal backpackers except for our over-excitement at the National Navy Museum.
